Seasiders sunk from the spot
Ben Burgess scored the Seasiders' second-half equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Western League Ilfracombe's Marlborough Park, but then missed in the shoot-out as the Blue Square Premier outfit won 4-2 on spot-kicks.
The first half saw Ian Holloway's men lose Gary Taylor-Fletcher and trialist winger Seb Carole to injury.
