Seasiders star suffers injury blow
The striker, who has not made a first-team start all year due to various injuries, suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage in his right knee against Manchester City's second string on Wednesday.[LNB]The extent of the injury is still unclear but he could require surgery that would keep him out for up to six months.[LNB]"It's a crying shame for Stephen and I just hope he makes a full recovery and gets back in action as soon as is possible," Parkes told the Blackpool Gazette.[LNB]"He has had a really frustrating year but he had been training well for quite a while and was involved with the first team again.[LNB]"It is a real shame for the lad and my heart goes out to him."[LNB][LNB]
