Possession key to Holloway's plan

The England national side has consistently been shown up in major tournaments for their inability to retain possession.[LNB]And Holloway, who was recently appointed at Bloomfield Road, said: "I believe the modern is game is becoming more and more about retention of the ball and not giving it to the opposition.[LNB]"That's what I want to try and encourage the players to do. I believe English football, to a point, is not quite getting certain things right.[LNB]"I think a lot of top managers, even Sir Alex Ferguson, are adopting a different type of European style."[LNB][LNB]
