Pool look for more recruits

Blackpool are looking to complete deals for more players by next week to add to the loan signings made already this month.

Seasiders caretaker boss Tony Parkes has already swooped for Premier League players Roy O'Donovan and Graeme Owens, as well as bringing in DJ Campbell from Leicester.

However, Parkes feels he is still short of adequate cover within his squad and the interim chief is expected to complete some more loan deals and permanent signings by next week.

"We have plenty of irons in the fire," said Parkes. "Hopefully we will get more players in but you are looking at next week."

Also joining the Seasiders will be Irish wing man Ryan McIlmoyle, who will arrive at Bloomfield Road for a trial.
