Pool will travel to Highbury in Round 3

Blackpool will face local rivals Fleetwood Town in the 3rd round at Highbury Avenue after the Cods defeated Yeovil 2-0 at Huish Park in the 2nd Round Replay.

Fleetwood Town set-up a dream Fylde Coast tie tonight after they knocked out their second league club in the FA Cup. Goals from Jamie McGuire on 28 minutes and from Jamie Vardy in injury time claimed the scalp of League One Yeovil Town. This was Town's second league club after they had earlier disposed of Wycombe in Round One.

Both sides were reduced to ten men wwhen Yeovil's lBondz N'Gala was dismissed on 70 minutes. The numbers were evened up five minutes from time when Steve McNulty was shown a second yellow card and Gavin Williams had a superb chance to force extra time, but headed over from six yards. in the first half whilst Fleetwood's McNulty who picked up his second yellow of the evening was sent off late in the second.

The high flying Conference's side made history reaching the 3rd round for the first time whilst manager Micky Mellon had already described it as the Cods  biggest game if they could beat Yeovil in the replay.

The third round proper ties take place week during the weekend of the 7th January.
