Parkes targets Blackpool improvement

The Seasiders are currently in 18th position with seven games remaining with their safety is not yet assured. "It would be nice to improve on last season," caretaker boss Parkes told the Blackpool Gazette. "Once we get to 52 or 53 points, and when hopefully there are two or three games left, we will try to kick on and see if we can beat last year. "The first aim, of course, is to get safe and as quickly as possible."
