Parkes hopes for Mahon return
Mahon signed for the Seasiders on loan from Burnley in March, but only lasted 56 minutes before suffering a foot injury that has kept him on the sidelines since.
But Parkes sees the Irish winger as a potential asset next term and could look to instigate a fresh deal.
"What has happened with Alan is unfortunate because I think he would have
done a job for us," he told the Gazette.
"But Alan may be one we look to keep, if he gets himself fit"
