Oyston dismisses Rams bid

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has dismissed Derby County's latest offer for defender Shaun Barker as 'not acceptable'.

The Rams have already tabled two bids for Barker and are also believed to be willing to part with striker Laim Dickinson, who was on loan at Bloomfield Road last season.

However, Oyston told the Blackpool Gazette: "We are just not interested in talking to them at all.

"We have told them that what they have offered is not acceptable and we don't want to swap any players.

"Particularly now we have a new manager, it is vitally important that we keep our better players together and players that are fundamental to where we have got.

"We've told Derby that we are not interested in their offer and we've turned it down."
