Oyston hails Holloway impact
The Seasiders are undefeated after five Championship outings and have also progressed to the third round of the Carling Cup.
Holloway has won instant favour with supporters of the Bloomfield Road club after returning to management after an ill-fated spell with Leicester.
Oyston told the club's official website: "I am delighted and I am really happy for Ian.
"He has brought us a lot more methods and different ideas and he has definitely taken us on a level which is something we really needed.
"He has got a lot of Championship experience and whilst we can't and maybe don't do some of the things the so-called bigger clubs do, we can replicate some of the things and make sure we do them well."
