Ormerod has signed a new 12-month contract, with the option of a further season, and is confident Holloway can help the Seasiders to build on their progress in recent seasons. He told the Blackpool Gazette: "I'm looking forward to meeting the new manager, which should be good. I've come across Ian Holloway in my time and spoken to him once or twice, though I can't say I've ever had a deep conversation with him. "He has a very good reputation in the game and hopefully he can help take this club forward." Meanwhile, the Seasiders have announced that the trip to Scunthorpe, scheduled for Easter Saturday (April 3) will now take place on Good Friday (April 2) and the visit of rivals Preston has been put back 24 hours at the request of police. The Championship clash scheduled for Saturday, November 28 will now be played on Sunday, November 29.
