O'Donovan goes under the knife
The 23-year-old Irishman complained of feeling unwell prior to Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Sheffield United.[LNB]He pulled out of the Seasiders' line-up just before kick-off and was admitted to hospital in Sheffield.[LNB]Tests confirmed that appendicitis was the problem and on Wednesday lunchtime O'Donovan underwent surgery to have his appendix taken out.[LNB]The operation is said to have been a success but it remains to be seen how long O'Donovan will be sidelined.[LNB][LNB]
