O'Donovan waits on future

Blackpool loanee Roy O'Donovan will wait until the summer before deciding where to play his football next season.

The 23-year-old Irishman still has another year left on his contract with parent club Sunderland, but is clearly enjoying his time at Bloomfield Road.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "I haven't thought too much about my long-term future to be honest. I am going to have a holiday and whatever happens, happens.

"I have a year left at Sunderland, but it is all up in the air with what happens with them.

"But I've loved it here and it has been invigorating to play football here and just enjoy it. Hopefully I can get better in the next three games and add a couple of goals."
