No pitch plans for Oyston

Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston says undersoil heating is "not a financial consideration" for the club at the moment despite the postponement of their last two scheduled home games. The Seasiders' clashes with Manchester United and Tottenham at Bloomfield Road - both of which were to be televised - had to be called off due to freezing conditions, but Oyston has stressed there are no immediate plans to address the problem by installing a new heating system beneath the pitch. "It really is not a financial consideration," Oyston told Sky Sports News. "These games will be played and we will only know the financial implications once the season is over and we know how many games have been picked for television. "At the moment, it is not at the forefront of our mindset - spectator and player safety are."
