More time for fatal fire police

Police in Lancashire have applied for extra time to question two men arrested over a fire in which a couple died.A 25-year-old and a 19-year-old men were held in East London on suspicion of murder. [LNB]Abdullah Mohammed, 41, was killed in the Blackburn fire in October. His wife, Ayesha, 39, died a week later and two of their children were injured. [LNB]Police are applying for longer to question the two men, who were arrested on Thursday. [LNB]A 23-year-old, arrested on Tuesday, remains in custody. [LNB]Daughter in hospital[LNB]Another man, a 22-year-old, has been released on police bail. [LNB]Two men have already been charged with murder and remanded in custody. [LNB]The couple's 14-year-old daughter, Siddiqah, remains in a stable condition in hospital in Manchester following the fire. [LNB]Their nine-year-old son, Muhammad, has been released and is now recovering with his extended family. [LNB]Their eldest son, Ashraf, was away at university at the time of the attack on 21 October at the family home in London Road.
