McPhee has been sidelined for six months after damaging cruciate knee ligaments in a reserve team comeback game in April.[LNB]He is confident he will be back in action early in the new year.[LNB]"I'm getting there, slowly," the 28-year-old told the official website. "I've just got to take each day at a time. It's a bit like Groundhog Day to be honest - you have good days and bad days.[LNB]"But hopefully next month I can start running and then starting getting the ball out with the aim to be back around January, touch wood.[LNB]"I've had a long injury once before and you've just got make sure that everything's right. It's better to just take it easy and make sure everything's all right because when you've been out for a long time you tend to get little hamstring niggles and little calf niggles."[LNB][LNB]
