Malnacs back on board

Malnacs, who stood down from his position as director at Bloomfield Road just over a year ago, has kept in touch from his home in Riga and believes manager Ian Holloway can launch a possible play-off challenge.[LNB]He said: "I'm delighted to be back and I'm returning at an exciting time for the club. Ian has done a fantastic job and we have already proved we can live with the best teams in the division.[LNB]"I'm sure we can maintain our place in the table and who knows where we can finish.[LNB]"Although I stood down as a director, I did not stop being a supporter. I regularly listened to the games on the web and kept up to date to with all the news. I have many friends at the club and I'm pleased to be back."[LNB]Chairman Karl Oyston added: "It's great having Normunds back with us, he is a vital link between the club and (president) Mr (Valery) Belokon.[LNB]"We were all disappointed when he originally stood down and have been trying to tempt him back since."[LNB][LNB]
