Injury blow for Demontagnac

Blackpool winger Ishmel Demontagnac is set to be sidelined for well over a month due to a hamstring injury.

The 21-year-old was injured in the Carling Cup victory over Wigan Athletic, having only joined the Seasiders at the start of the campaign.

Demontagnac told the Blackpool Gazette: "I am really disappointed because I was just getting in to the best shape I've been in for quite a while.

"To get injured was a real setback, but I just have to get on with it and try to get back soon.

"I won't rush back for a certain game because the last thing I want is another setback.

"I'm hopeful that I can start running sometime next week and then work my way back to fitness."
