Hughes joined the Seasiders from Oldham last week and will remain with the Championship outfit until the end of the season. The former West Brom and Coventry forward has scored 18 goals in 36 league starts for the Latics this term and joined up with his new team-mates at Squires Gate for the first time on Monday morning. He told the club's official website: "I'm pleased to be back in the Championship and I'm glad that Blackpool wanted me. I'm looking forward to my time here. "I played in this league for a number of years so I know what it's all about. You never lose your touch for scoring goals - that's the main thing. "I've got 18 league goals this season so there's no reason why I can't be looking for 20 goals plus now. I usually score a few goals wherever I go so hopefully I'll do the same here."
