Hughes relishing double-header
Striker Hughes is currently on loan at Bloomfield Road from Oldham and is keen to help the Seasiders to stave off the threat of relegation.
Tony Parkes' men will make the trip to Deepdale on Saturday before hosting high-flying Reading on Easter Monday.
Hughes told the club's official website: "It's a big weekend and one I am looking forward to. Hopefully we will pick up some points and will be close to staying in the division for next year."
