The former Oldham frontman - whose career has been shrouded in controversy following his conviction for causing death by dangerous driving in 2004 - moved to Bloomfield Road on loan from the League One Latics until the end of the season. The Seasiders faithful gave him a raucous reception when he made his debut in the 1-0 defeat to Plymouth on Saturday. "The fans were brilliant and I couldn't have wished for a better reception, I was pleased," he told the club's website. "I hope to be able to repay them with a few goals between now and the end of the season."
