Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has admitted that he needs handful of new players to bolster his squad this summer.

Holloway's only capture since taking charge at Bloomfield Road has been former Ipswich Town striker Billy Clarke, but several more targets are on the Seasiders' hitlist.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "I have to add to this squad.

"I haven't got the strength in depth that I need, everybody knows that. I will probably have to bring in five or six.

"I have to add lads that I can put my name and my stamp on, who will be proud to play for Blackpool.

"I am sifting through phonecalls from agents and a deluge of players who haven't got any jobs."
