Holloway likely to keep the faith

The Seasiders largely outplayed derby rivals Preston in Monday's 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road.

Holloway has no new injury concerns but may be tempted to hand Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan an opportunity to shine.

Bannan - who has made two UEFA Cup starts for Villa - looked sharp on his debut as a late substitute against Preston.

The Scotland Under-21 international, 19, impressed during a loan spell at Derby last season and is rated highly by Holloway.

Striker Stephen McPhee (knee) and defender Danny Coid (hairline fracture of the tibia) remain unavailable but victory for Blackpool would cement their place in the play-off zone.
