Hollo seeks play-off push

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway believes wins in back-to-back home clashes against Crystal Palace and Swansea City could reignite a faltering play-off charge.

The Seasiders were beaten 3-0 by Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Tuesday evening and Holloway hopes the fast-approaching Bloomfield Road contests can shape their season.

But he wants his players to get back to basics and pick up results to aid their challenge.

He said: "It looked like my players started to think about the results and where we might end up, and you cannot do that.

"That is not their job. It is the job of the fans to look at results and tables. We've got to keep producing what we do week in, week out.

"Whatever the score is, you have to keep going and you find out how good you are at the end of the season. You cannot start looking at results."
