Grayson swoops for Stags star

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has completed the signing of Mansfield Town defender Alex John-Baptiste.

The 22-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the Seasiders with the option for a further 12 months.

"I'm really delighted," Baptiste told the club's official website.

"I just can't wait to start training and get underway. I'm really excited about this move and I'm looking forward to great things."

Meanwhile, the Championship side have agreed a transfer fee with Tottenham for Joe Martin, who had a brief spell on loan at Bloomfield Road last season.
