Grayson named top boss

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has been named the League One manager of the month for December.

The Seasiders boss led the club to five victories from their six league games as they moved from the bottom half of the table to the fringes of the play-off zone.

"It was a successful month for the club and the lads have developed a very good team ethic," said Grayson.

Also in contention for the accolade were Sean O'Driscoll of Doncaster Rovers, John Sheridan of Oldham Athletic and Scunthorpe United's new boss Nigel Adkins.
