Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has urged the club to stop living in the past after they booked their place in the League One play-off final.
The Seasiders secured a 3-1 semi-final second leg victory over Oldham Athletic to seal their place in the Wembley final against Yeovil Town with a 5-2 aggregate scoreline.
"This club is steeped in history and tradition and you go back to the 1950s with Stanley Matthews and people like that and we've maybe lived in the past too long," said Grayson.
"Now we want to be part of a new era where the club goes forward and there's no reason why we can't do that.
"It's a fantastic achievement by everybody connected at the club, the fans, the players - it's been a big ask for everybody.
"We'll all have a drink, back to work Tuesday and try and finish the job off on Sunday."
