    Grayson lauds strike pair

    10 May 2007 - 12:57:13

Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has hailed the efforts of his strike duo Andy Morrell and Keigan Parker after the Seasiders finished third in League One.

Morrell netted 19 goals this season, including four in the final-day 6-3 thrashing of Swansea City, while Parker scored 14 times for Grayson's side, who now face Oldham Athletic in the play-off semi-finals.

"Andy has been a credit to himself, the way that he works both on the pitch and off it," Grayson said.

"But it's not just his goals. It's his all-round work, his all-round professionalism and everything about him.

"Full credit to Keigan because the improvement in his game has been immense. When you've got pace like he has, it is sometimes very hard to play against.

"In fact, he is unplayable at times and, with Andy alongside him, they are looking a very good partnership."
