Grayson eyes loan swoop

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson is hoping to bring in Blackburn Rovers youngster Andy Taylor to fill the Seasiders' problem left-back spot.

Grayson has both Paul Tierney and Danny Coid currently sidelined and views Taylor as a possible stand-in on a loan basis.

He told the Blackpool Gazette: "I'll be on to Blackburn to see about Andy Taylor, but it may be a non-starter to be honest.

"Danny Coid has done something to his knee. We'll see how it settled down over the weekend and get it scanned.

"We used 13 left-backs last season, so you could say the position is jinxed."
