Gilks edging closer

Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks believes he could be ready to return to action in the club's next match. Gilks, 28, has been sidelined since November after fracturing his kneecap against West Ham. He then suffered a minor calf injury playing for the reserves last week but is now targeting a return at Fulham on April 3. He told the club`s official website: "The knee has been fine for six weeks but it is the muscle around it that has needed a bit of work. "The calf injury is something and nothing. Hopefully I will back for the Fulham game."
