Championship outfit Blackpool have announced the signing of Jason Euell on a one-year contract.
Euell joins the Tangerines as a free agent following his release from Southampton at the end of last season. His contract includes an option for a further season at Bloomfield Road.
The 32-year-old has an abundances of Premier League experience after spells with Wimbledon, Charlton, Middlesbrough and will provide manager Ian Holloway with options in both attack and midfield.
Euell revealed the relaxed nature of Holloway helped persuade him move to the Lancashire club.
"I had a meeting with Ian last week and it was a good, funny chat to discuss football as well as other things," Euell told Blackpool's official website.
"It swayed for me to want to be here and be part of what Ian's trying to achieve in moving the club forward. I want to be part of that."
Holloway added: "Jason is someone that I have admired for many a year. I think he's a fantastic character and he's one of the fittest 32-year-olds you will find in your life.
"He can play in a variety of roles that I want to use him in and it's absolutely vital that he's chose us."
