Edwards willing to rest up
The Seasiders defender has missed the past two games due to the injury which he originally sustained in December.
"I've probably not been at 100 per cent in the last few weeks," he said.
"My ankle hasn't been right since I sustained the injury in December.
"Although I've got through games, the injury may have caught up with me. The best thing for me and everybody else is to try and get it right before it gets worse and puts me out for a long time."
