Eardley on the attack

Neal Eardley has promised Blackpool will continue to attack their Barclays Premier League rivals, no matter what their reputation. The Seasiders' fine start to their first top-flight season in 39 years continued as they held Everton to a 2-2 draw at Bloomfield Road. Blackpool suffered heavy defeats to Arsenal and Chelsea earlier in the campaign but the experience has not unnerved them and Everton could have followed Liverpool into their victory column had Marlon Harewood's late strike stood. Eardley, who marked his 22nd birthday by opening the scoring with a stunning free-kick, said: "We came into this league wanting to attack teams and just do things the way we do. It's paying off for us at the moment. "I think we're hungry to win games no matter what. We have got a great set of lads here - not just the players, the staff as well. "We go into these games together and I think that is why we are doing so well. No matter what the circumstance, we are always hungry to win games."
