Crucial Lancashire derby for Pool
Pool welcome back Charlie Adam and host of players after the recent two week break as Holloway looks to avenge a 2-1 defeat by Rovers at Bloomfield Road. Blackpool welcome back talisman and captain Charlie Adam from suspension for the vital Barclays Premier League trip to Blackburn. Adam has now served his two-match ban for reaching 10 yellow cards but top scorer DJ Campbell is only midway through his three-game suspension for his sending-off at Wolves. Midfielder Eliot Grandin (hamstring) is back in contention to start, defender Craig Cathcart returns after food poisoning and striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher (hamstring) is also available. Richard Kingson will return in goal after a hamstring injury suffered during the defeat at Chelsea last time out led to fourth choice Mark Halstead being thrown into action. Other keepers Matt Gilks and Paul Rachubka (both knee) remain sidelined but the latter is close to fitness. No lack of desire from Tangerines - Holloway Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has warned Blackburn his players will approach the crucial Lancashire derby as if lives depend on it. Holloway does not necessarily see the Ewood Park encounter as a 'six-pointer', even though both sides have slipped alarmingly towards the Barclays Premier League relegation zone, but he insists the Tangerines will not lack desire. Holloway, who guided Blackpool back to the top flight after a 39-year absence, said: "What we all want to do is keep our status. "We won't like relinquishing the fact we are a Premier League side. It might take years to get back there. We want to fight and scrap. "What you have to do is want it more than the opposition, and my team have done that week in, week out. I am not expecting anything else. Our livelihoods depend on it."
