Crainey looking for consistency
The former Leeds left-back was sidelined through injury for the first half of the campaign due to a groin injury.
He did not make his first appearance until January 24 against Birmingham and has only recently regained full fitness.
Crainey told the club's official website: "I had a good year last year but this year has been a little bit up and down for myself.
"I was injured at the start of the season but I've ended it on a good note, so hopefully I can continue that into next season."
