The Seasiders were tipped for relegation by many pundits during the summer but are undefeated after five Championship outings and have also progressed to the third round of the Carling Cup. Oyston told the club's official website: "I'm not being negative in any way, shape or form but we also have to remember it is early days. "We are five games into a 46-game season and while it is brilliant I just hope we continue to perform the way we are. "I'm sure we will continue to excite and play good football though because it is the best football I've seen in my time here. "We've some very, very good players. As long as that continues, I think people will continue to have the same buzz that they're currently seems to be around the club and the town in general."
