With just two games to play, the seasider’s are in free fall and their fall from grace is mainly aimed at the clubs owners, The Oyston’s.
Club Chairman, Karl Oyston has seen these one time premier league wannabees fall into the bottom three of the Skybet Championship and has endured supporter protests (throwing tennis balls and tangerines onto the pitch in their recent live televised match versus Burnley FC), fans petitions to rid the club of the owners and even letters from fans asking if the players were still committed to the cause.
Caretaker player manager, Barry Ferguson has tried his very best to get the players to perform on the pitch and help save the club from relegation to League One, even by putting his boots back on and playing himself in recent games.
If the club are to survive, they must get something out of their remaining fixtures, They are Wigan away and Charlton at home.
At least the player manager is trying his damned hardest to get something from the team.
With on loan players and players out of contract and playing for their futures, there must surely be something at the end of this troubling time.
I personally think they will survive and that the board give Mr Ferguson the managers job on a permanent basis and next season he will get the team playing to his (and the fans) way of attacking stylish football.
Lets hope so eh, so good luck Barry and the boys for the remaining fixtures and lets show the Oyston’s and certain negative fans that all IS well at Blackpool Football Club.
