Campbell: Tangerines must stay positive

Blackpool striker DJ Campbell insists the team will not let Sunday's defeat to Arsenal get them down as they head into a trio of games he feels will make or break their season. After their manager Ian Holloway expressed concern about his players' body language in the 3-0 defeat at Fulham, the Seasiders looked more positive at the weekend as they entertained Arsenal at Bloomfield Road. Campbell was involved in a moment of controversy when he collided in the box with Jens Lehmann. The ball broke to Gary Taylor-Fletcher, who scored to make it 2-1, but Lehmann escaped punishment when he might have been sent off. Campbell believes the German goalkeeper "maybe should have walked", but does not want to dwell on the 3-1 defeat, conscious that Blackpool - now with only one win in their last 12 games and just a point above the Barclays Premier League relegation zone - need to keep spirits high going into consecutive home fixtures against Wigan, Newcastle and Stoke. Asked if he felt the Tangerines had been hard done by on Sunday, Campbell told Press Association Sport: "Yes, definitely - if you had seen the game, then you would have seen the decisions the gaffer was upset about. That's football, but I don't really want to talk about that because it's in the past and we have got to move on to the Wigan game now." He continued: "We were not really expecting to get anything from that game (against Arsenal) if we are being honest. We believed that we could beat them, but it is more about Wigan, Newcastle, Stoke - these are the games where it really matters."
