Burley: Adam will start in Japan

Tartan Army boss George Burley has been highly impressed with Adam's impact at Bloomfield Road and will reward the 23-year-old in Yokohama this weekend.[LNB]Burley sought advice on Adam from Preston boss Alan Irvine, Rangers defender David Weir - a former team-mate of Adam's at Ibrox - and Blackpool manager Ian Holloway.[LNB]Burley told the Blackpool Gazette: "Charlie has been doing really well since he moved to England in the summer.[LNB]"I spoke to Davie Weir about him during the week and a few managers down south.[LNB]"Alan Irvine thinks Charlie is talented and said good things about him. Ian Holloway also phoned and I quickly said: 'Don't worry, I'm picking Charlie.' Ian has been absolutely delighted with his contribution. He told me he has built his team round Charlie."[LNB][LNB]
