Burgess to undergo knee scan

The striker was substituted in only the third minute of the 2-1 defeat against Barnsley on Saturday after outstretching when trying to head the ball out of play.[LNB]Burgess has appeared 10 times and scored four goals during the first-half of the campaign in which the Seasiders have moved to the fringes of the Championship play-off places.[LNB]Holloway told the club website: "Ben needs a scan as he still can't put his foot on the floor.[LNB]"It doesn't look good from where we are at the moment but he's got a lot to put up with with his knees."[LNB]He added: "Hopefully it won't be too long as he's a very important player for us."[LNB][LNB]
