Blackpool extend Bannan loan deal

Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan has turned down Preston to extend his loan deal at Blackpool until the summer.The 19-year-old Scotland Under-21 international joined the Tangerines on loan in November and made eight appearances for them. Seasiders boss Ian Holloway told BBC Radio Lancashire: "I thank Martin O'Neill for that, plus Barry as I know Preston were looking at taking him.
