No new worries for Blackpool boss Neil McDonald

Blackpool boss Neil McDonald has no fresh injury problems as he prepares for a potentially decisive Sky Bet League One clash with leaders Wigan.

McDonald will have only long-term absentee Henry Cameron, who is working his way back from a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament injury, missing as the Seasiders attempt to stave off relegation.

The manager made three changes for last weekend's 0-0 draw at Fleetwood with defender Hayden White, midfielder Liam Smith and striker Jack Redshaw coming in for Emmerson Boyce, Brad Potts and Jacob Blyth, and could shuffle his pack once again.

Victory in the day's early fixture would lift Blackpool out of the drop zone, but defeat could prove fatal depending on results later in the day.

Wigan, meanwhile, can officially secure promotion by avoiding defeat at Bloomfield Road and could even seal the title should they beat the Seasiders and Burton fail to win later in the day at home to Gillingham.

Should both sides win, Latics will head into the final game of the season at home to Barnsley three points clear of the Brewers with a far superior goal difference.

Midfielder David Perkins returned from a ban to play the full 90 minutes of last weekend's 4-1 win against Southend and will keep his place.

Michael Jacobs now has two goals in his last two matches and should continue, while Will Grigg took his tally for the season to 26 with a brace against the Shrimpers and will lead the line.
