Lloyd Jones injury blow for Blackpool ahead of Swindon clash

Blackpool have said goodbye to loan signing Lloyd Jones after the Liverpool defender returned to his parent club following an ankle injury.

The club is yet to find out the full extent of the injury, but he may yet return for the Tangerines if the injury is not found to be serious.

Tom Aldred is back in consideration for Neil McDonald for the visit of Swindon in Sky Bet League One. The defender missed the win over Chesterfield in the week with a head injury.

McDonald has called for more consistency from his side as they look to build upon two encouraging home performances, where they have taken four points.

Swindon boss Mark Cooper must decide whether to recall Chilean Lawrence Vigouroux after the on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper's disciplinary troubles.

After turning up to training late, Vigouroux paid a B#50 club fine in pennies and was subsequently left out of Town's last two matches, but Cooper has given him a second chance and he will vie with Tyrell Belford for a place in the starting line-up.

Striker Wes Thomas remains doubtful due to the hamstring injury that kept him out of the midweek draw at Doncaster, but midfielder Louis Thompson shook off a dead leg in time to start and should continue.

Skipper Nathan Thompson remains sidelined with a groin problem as the Robins chase their first win in five league matches.
