Belokon still committed - Oyston
Belokon invested £4.5million over a three-year period when he signed an agreement with the Oystons in summer 2006.
His cash helped secure an immediate promotion to the Championship, a position the Seasiders have managed to maintain since, but the initial agreement with the Oystons is due to end this summer.
However, Oyston told the Blackpool Gazette: "Mr Belokon has given no indication whatsoever that he would leave and if you saw him in board meetings or at matches, I don't think you'd ever question his commitment to the cause.
"I think a lot of people have lost a lot of money in the credit crunch - rich people or otherwise.
"Mr Belokon hasn't taken any harm and is looking at the current economic climate as a chance to increase his stake and increase his business interests rather than diminish them."
