Belokon happy to splash the cash
The Latvian has agreed to provide a 'sizeable sum' of money for manager Ian Holloway to sign his transfer targets.
Belokon was at Bloomfield Road on Wednesday for a board meeting at which Holloway asked for financial assistance and was given the green light.
Speaking at a sponsors lunch chairman Karl Oyston said of the deal: "This is a massive boost for the club and it once again illustrates Valery's fantastic support and love of Blackpool Football Club.
"He remains fully behind achieving his goal of Premier League football."
