Baptiste relishing Toffees test
Last season's beaten FA Cup finalists will travel to Bloomfield Road for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday August 4.
The high-profile clash will be the Seasiders' final outing before their season opener at QPR four days later.
Baptiste told the club's official website: "They were FA Cup finalists and they'll be bringing loads of internationals here.
"It'll be good to play a team of that calibre but pre-season is all about getting towards that first game of the season.
"Regardless of the scores we will be looking at the first game of the season because that's the most important thing."
