The 23-year-old impressed hugely in the closing weeks of last term as the Seasiders marched to safety in style.
Yet he admits competition will be fierce as players seek to make an impression on Holloway.
"It's a fresh beginning and a new season with a new manager, so the hard work starts now," Baptiste told the club's official website.
"You set your own personal goals going into the season and I know that I need to improve on what I produced last season. Hopefully I can be a regular starter."
