Adam pleased by Levein appointment

Levein stepped down as Dundee United boss after three years in charge to take the national job and succeed George Burley. Adam welcomed Levein's arrival and the Dundee-born Scotland international told Blackpool's official website: "I think Craig Levein will be a terrific appointment. "He's done a fantastic job at Dundee United and speaking to people who've worked with him, he's a very good coach and a very good manager. "We now need to try and qualify for a major championship because it's been a few years since that has happened. "We know it will be tough, but in Scotland there's a lot of talent and hopefully the new manager can get the best out of the players."
