Adam enjoying life with Pool

Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam is delighted with the way his first full season in England has gone.

The 24-year-old joined the Seasiders on a permanent basis in the summer, having become frustrated by a lack of opportunities at Rangers.

He has since netted 15 goals in the Championship, with his latest striker helping Pool to a 2-0 victory at Plymouth Argyle.

He told The Gazette: "I am surprising myself a bit with how many goals I've got, but at the same time I know I can get in the positions to score the goals.

"It's just about trying to convert chances and luckily enough I have managed to do that so far this season."
