Adam earns Scotland nod

Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam has been rewarded with his fine early season form by being recalled to the Scotland national side ahead of their trip to Japan.
National team manager George Burley has called him up for the October 10 fixture and it is his first call since 2007.
On the news, Blackpool boss Ian Holloway said: "He was very upset about Scotland not qualifying and very upset about not being picked.
"When I spoke to him the summer, I told him to get playing and once someone sees you playing regularly and doing well he would get selected and I am delighted that his performances for us have been rewarded.
"I am also pleased that Scotland aren't looking at us as little Blackpool and that the Championship is not a good enough standard because I believe it is and I believe that Charlie and Stephen Crainey are more than good enough for the Scottish team."
