Adam wants to speak with Walter

Adam is eager to remain a Rangers player despite being loaned out to the Seasiders for the second half of last season. Rangers are open to offers for most of their first-team players as they look to cut their debt, and Adam is the subject of the first successful bid this summer. But the 23-year-old wants to hear first hand from Smith whether he is surplus to requirements. Blackpool boss Ian Holloway told the club's official website: "His agent has told us that although Rangers have accepted our offer, he is a bit confused about things because he thought he might have had a chance at Rangers. "The lad has heard lots of speculation about Barry Ferguson moving from the club and he fancies the chance of still playing for them because he is a Rangers fan. "So he is going to see Walter Smith and hopefully he will be coming to see us on Thursday." Adam, who enjoyed previous loan spells with Ross County and St Mirren, has played 89 games for Rangers, netting 18 goals.
